In the context of the visit of professors Gerardo Chowell-Puente and Tetsuro Kobayashi of the School of Public Health, Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA, USA, to the Center for Research in Mathematical Engineering (CI²MA) at the Universidad de Concepción, with the purpose of strengthening present and future contacts in this interdisciplinary area, both locally and nationally, has organized the "Fourth CI²MA Workshop: Mathematical Models in Epidemiology", which will be held between Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 June in The UdeC.
