Linear Algebra of High Performance for Partial Differential Equations

Professor Mulet is an expert in numerical methods for nonlinear EDPs. Since 2008, he collaborates with the DIM academic and CI²MA researcher, Raimund Bürger, on numerical methods for systems of conservation laws and related problems. As a result of this collaboration, there are more than ten co-signed publications, as well as two co-directed PhD theses and two others in process. The stay that will be held at CI²MA in January 2017 is funded by the Dirección de Postgrado from UdeC and Programa de Atracción e Inserción (PAI) from Conicyt, Short Stages (MEC), contest 2015. The project It also contemplates resources to finance passages for a journalist or thesis candidate who wishes to make a study in Spain with Professor Mulet.
