There are buses every 10 minutes from Santiago to either Valparaíso or Viña del Mar. They can be taken at the metro station "Pajaritos". Metro tickets are sold on every station.
Transportation.
A taxi trip from Viña to Valparaíso can cost about 10.000 Chilean pesos (USD 20). There is an efficient metropolitan railway, the "Merval" (Metro de Valparaíso), a card must be bought and charged in order to use it.
Money.
It can be obtained in cash dispensers in banks, pharmacies and supermarkets.
Weather.
November is Spring in the Southern hemisphere. Temperatures in Valparaíso range from 15 to 25 Celsius degrees, and the rain is rare in this season. Sun protector is highly recommended due to the thinning of the ozone layer in Southern latitudes.
